Yes.
Forbidden Journey sets the bar in Florida.
(Apologies to my beloved Jungle Cruise)

Indy at DL is still the Disney queue to beat, in my opinion.

Are we THAT bored with WDW?

How about a refillable mug thread? Or a 'Isn't it great that Gay Days happened and no one felt a need to start a thread' thread? Or a 'will poolhopper burn in hell' thread?

Or how about Disney really isn't thinking of a WoC type show on the freaking parking lot of DD thread? ;-)

Nah ... I'm heading back to Social Media and the WDW Co!

Oh ... and the best queue at WDW is (naturally) for The Spirit Meet-Greet-And-If-You-Buy-Him-Dinner-Grope!

Those were not at WDW. There are actually quite a few at other parks I could list that are as cool if not better than WDW, and not just Potter.

Also, count my wife as a Muppets Fan, it is her Number 1 fav at WDW and DL. Shame we do not have it or the superior (IMHO) ITTBAB in Paris. Just Capt. Eo.

But you guys can keep Philharmagic, I don't like it.

Well, not all threads can be big E-ticket threads like your Social Media one. ;-)

This here has a purpose as a nice relaxing place to get out of the heat - just like the TTA or the (new old) Tiki Room.

And no thanks to those refillable mugs and pool hopping threads - they would be the "Stitch's Great Escape of the discussion board world...

I like to sit on the bench at the stone walls or watch the Steel Drum band.. Do they still play? I haven't seen them in years

I've not seen any entertainment in any of the lands of the Magic Kingdom other than Main Street for 30 years. Is there any?

I met a saxophone quartett one rainy afternoon at the entrance to Philharmagic. And according to this website http://wdwent.com/ (which I have found to be very reliable especially with the not officially published events) there is also music at Frontierland. But no steel drum band in Adventureland.

Like most, I can live without the bird on a stick. That point in the ride, with the tracks torn up while you're surrounding by snow and the sound of wind, works just fine by itself. And the "shadow puppet" works incredibly well to set up the feel of the rest of the ride. And once you're going forward at high speed (much higher speed than BTMRR!), you don't really need anything else.

>The Nemo queue has some pretty cool effects too, but it's a little cartoony for my liking.<

I always stop and watch the little silverfish as they slowly form some recognizable figure. Really excellent animation!

And Spirit, the thread is obviously popular enough that there seems to be a reason for its creation. Seems like you're getting a little high and mighty, decreeing which threads are worthy and which are not. If you don't like it, don't participate.

That thread just may be a little more fascinating to the Spirit than it is to anyone else. Sure, it goes for 500+ posts. But it is the same 12-15 posters saying the same thing ad infinitum. This thread may have just 54 posts, but they are by 16 distinct people talking about a wide range of queues. The other thread is of great interest to those of you who consider yourselves insiders, which is fine. I know whenever I tried moving just a little from the core subject of the topic so something a little new might be discussed I was promptly spanked by the Spirit and sent on my way.

But carry on boys. Make it go to a 1,000 posts. It will be interesting to see how many different ways Spirit can say the exact same thing.
