I didn't drive this time, but I didn't hear Lisann22 complain about parking, either. Her car was always very close to our room.

The internet access is free, but not all rooms have it. You have to request it and they won't guarantee that you will get a room that has it. As far as I know, the mini-suites are the only ones that have it, and not all of them do. This is the BIG reason we go to HoJo's. DH has to have internet access.

I've parked my full size SUV at PPI many times and never had new door dings. Parking is much easier if you go around to the back side of the hotel.

We still won't go. We're HoJo and DLH fans. And GC when we can afford it. The only advantage BWPPI has for us is location and HoJo's just isn't that much further. And we love being across the street from Mimi's.

We are pool people, like the larger rooms, it's always been cleaner. We just prefer HoJo's. We've had bad experiences with the staff at BWPPI, parking, pool, laundry facilities - so we won't go back. But I know we all like different things, so that's great. It would be a PITR if everyone preferred HoJo's. We could never stay there! And same for BWPPI for you!

And it also wasn't very consistent. But that all could have changed in the last year. We haven't stayed at BWPPI in over a year (Sept 05) and probably won't again. Just not our cup o' tea!

I agree the HoJo's property is very nice, and if you are pool people it's a better choice.

Also parking is a nightmare, very small spaces and not enough.

It seems to me that BWPPI is above par in relation to the other hotels right nearby :)

A question for anyone that loves this place, have you stayed in one of the rooms facing the alley between it and Tropicana? I think that would be facing North (?) or even worse be on the 1st floor, better known as the parking lot. Thats where our room was both times and the rooms were so depressing. Concrete wall for a view and zero light. You need a torch to find the bathroom. Maybe the rooms facing South make a world of difference. I just dont get the love for this place.

Its is a 2 story cinder block. I dont care how nice the staff is or spotless the rooms are. I need more than that and you can find it within a couple minutes walk.
