In more recent years, I've gone and asked them about it....and it seems no cast member can recall the birds. Of course, I know most CM from the 1980s probably don't wirk there now. Still, one woman said emphatically something like "No, we don't do that anymore." So maybe they have a selective memory. I still loved (and love) the Crystal Palace though!
