" For the 50th we had a dinner but the standard is we get together, talk, and have the Golden Doobie Award Show. It sounds like with no real plans yet it will be held in the traditional place: The Fantasia Gardens Picnic Area.

While I'd love to have the chance to go to Club 33, I wouldn't count on it. However, it's nice to have a small group get together at some other nice venue - Joe's Crab Shack, Blue Bayou, etc. And don't forget the Tiki Meet!! (Schmitty self admin's his own comment about getting lei'd)

I'd be in favor of trying one for January, but the the price is getting so high, and since so many LPers have already gone, we may have a tough time meeting the minimum number of guests. Maybe we can take a poll in Sept. As far as July, it looks like 50-60 people, which is great for an informal meet, but I don't think large enough to reserve something. If anyone wants to do something more formal and would like to check into the minimum, just let me know what you find out!
