Only the #4 "prediction" predicted he was going down. The others 1). CALLS for him to step down, which is not the same thing; 2). calls for him to be fired, which is also not the same thing; 3). pointed out that he was called back to the prosecutor and speculated that could be bad news (but not that it definitely was; 4). is the prediction I alluded to before; 5). is a collection of opinions all over the map (including mine that Rove would walk); 6). indicates that people were speculating about Rove again. In short, I don't see a lot of predicting that Rove would go down, even among those who might have liked to see it.

In the context of this thread, the claim was that many of us predicted Rove would go down. That's not the same thing as someone here saying he should. I'm no fan of Rove, and I predicted he would walk, for instance (though the quote from #1 was not me); b). many times, people under investigation will voluntarily step down in order to cease being a distraction, and will be reinstated later if cleared. So even someone who supported Rove could have called for him to step down temporarily. At any rate, calling for someone to step down, whether one supports him or not, is not the same thing as predicting he will be convicted of anything.
