We each bought one of the entrees and shared. The favorite, by far, was the pesto ravioli. They top it with brucetta and pine nuts and it was outstanding. The flatbread pizza was good, but not at all filling for the price they are charging. The sundried tomato chicken pasta was just ok, but the portion was adequate for the price.

To us, the eating area kind of had more of a European feel than a boardwalk feel, but either way is very beautiful and quickly became our favorite place to sit and eat.

We did not try the other restaurant as it's meditteranean style, and since MrPb's family owns that type of restaurant, we did not want to waste money on that type of food LOL! Plus, when looking at it's offerings, seems to be a little pricey for what you get. For example, they charge $3.95 for a serving of baklava which is expensive in our opinion.

Also, right across the way is a new food stand that sells pretzels and beer. This includes Blue Moon and I couldn't be happier!

Blue Moon's not bad, but do they sell any craft beers at all? Or is it just stuff from the macro breweries? I would hope with a biergarten feel, they serve good stuff.

Have you seen the portion size? It's huge. It's not the little triangle you would be expecting. It's about the size of a egg roll (about 3+ inches long & about 1 1/2 inches across & it's round)

All flaky on the outside & all the filling in the middle like an egg roll.

Really? We'll have to check it out - although we do get that food free from MrPb's restaurant LOL

This was a way of salvaging bread that was going stale.

You probably have had this before and never even knew it!

I certainly know what bruschetta is (in Italy as we speak), but I have never heard of brucetta. Apparently the definition is: typo.

I doubt we could have said that with the former location!

Looking forward to the pizza and pasta place today! I think I'll try the ravioli, after haering the positive review!

Kind of meh. Could be worse I guess.

    Thanks for the info.
