I love the WDW CM's, but I've found that you have to take much of what they say with a grain of salt. If you ask them something they don't know, as often as not they will just make something up.

But with that in mind, I'm wondering now if Disney was able to exercise at least some level of control over what was built in that parcel of land? I mean, other than the fact that the price of the land was probably pretty high, what's to keep them from putting a WalMart in there? Or an outlet mall?
