I know what a tough, transitional time it is for publishers and bookstores, and I'm not without my sympathies (I used to work at a friend's bookstore), but this is the future. I read a lot of big history books - reading on a 16oz device compared to carting around the Taylor Branch trilogy or Vincent Bugliosi's Kennedy assassination tome? No comparison.
