Actually I think his whole family (his Dad, Mom and Sis) does. I don't think they text that often though - especially picture sending because I don't think any of them have camera phones, but I know him and his Mom can receive photos on their phones. When he first got me onto his plan last year, I remember finding out that you can't do mobile to mobile when it comes to texting, at least with AT&T - er at that time Cingular/AT&T. Oooh picture messages. I say that because I was able to send a couple pictures to my Niece - oh wait! No, those were picture messages I sent to her I think, yeah. Yeah, because I was still learning how to use the thing, and I didn't at first know how to send it just as a photo. So I thought "Message" was the right one. So I highlighted that option to send the picture. But then the next day I sent another picture to her but this time I wrote, "Hi (her name)!" in the message. Well she called me later that day and said thank you for the photos. So that's interesting because my Niece has Verizon too. Have folks with different providers tried sending you photo messages before and did not go through? Well, about my friend, although I sent a picture message to his Mom that didn't go through, I think I also sent one to his Sister - but I don't think it was a picture message. Probably won't need to and probably don't plan to, but they've certainly crossed my mind before I got the phone. If you're with Verizon, you can get a new phone every two years ("New Every Two"). Here's the kicker: when the plan started years ago, you would get a new phone, up to $100. In other words, if the phone you wanted cost $105.99, you would only pay $5.99 plus tax. The phone I have now was originally $300, but was on sale for $150. The plan also came with a $50 mail-in rebate, and all I ended up doing was paying for the tax. NOW...Verizon will pay up to $50 for any new phone, which is kind of a stinker, since all the really good ones cost more than that.
