Add to the fact that food, souvenirs, clothes and quality of service are better in Fla, many UK people are going to WDW instead. I suppose it's like a Mid West Disney fan in the US - shortbreak - DL, long vacation WDW. The same is happening in the UK - DLP for a weekend, WDW for longer. The issue is, many UK disney fans think WDW is better than DLP. It's a shame as DLP is better than the MK in so many ways (except maintenance, cleanliness, and people interactions).

Originally Posted By u k fan I agree with Dave that a trip to WDW or the US in general is very economical at the moment, but I prefer several short trips over the year to one big trip once a year so DLP gets my leisure money! If I had saved up all of the money I've spent going to DLP over the last year or so I could definitely have spent several weeks in sunny Florida!!!
