Whats the study with the red wine that you read?

My mother never took a drink in her life, and she told the Doctor she had no intention of doing so at her age. I definitely did not take after my mother on this matter. How do suggest we conceal our adult beverages, Maybe put them in a brown paper bag? How about we issue ration cards for alcohol Two stamps per day for registered drinkers. Then we could do the same for people that are over weight. A card that you have to present that limits you to 1500 calories per day. once you fill it in they cut you off. Hey...wait a minute...I just cut my own throat with those last two examples. I think I'll just forget my stupid ideas, and go back to letting adults make their own decisions about their lives.

Unless there are packs of drunks running around WDW ruining guest experiences and studies have proven that children are adversely affected by seeing adults consume alcoholic beverages, I think you're trying to remedy a problem that's nonexistent. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

My dad often drank a beer or two a day growing up, and my parents would often relax with a Mai Tai on the weekends. I watched them drink alcoholic beverages, and there's nothing wrong with me. Kids are put in far more danger by watching adults smoke (not to mention inhaling secondhand smoke), but I don't see you trying to outlaw that.

I don't know what the regulations are in the stores. But in the parks that serve alcohol by the drink, you are only served one drink at a time per person. If someone comes into the Rose & Crown to buy drinks for himself and his wife, the bartender actually needs to see the wife before he can dispense the drink. It's a Florida state law, and is a pretty good method of control.

You've obviously never been to Epcot Center during New Years.

At the millenium celebration there was a guy so drunk he was swimming half naked in one of the fountains in Italy. It was disturbing.

I once also saw a group of kids drunk at the Mexico Pavillion and cast members were arguing with them.

Well, you're correct there. But NYE is its own special bubble in the year. And anyone going out anywhere on that evening is fooling themselves if they think they're NOT going to see drunks. Other than that anomoly, I still stand by my comments.

Huh? I just stated that I haven't been to Epcot on NYE, but I'm agreeing that Epcot on NYE will probably have more drinking going on than at any other time of the year. What part of that statement do you challenge with your silly babble?

I've seen similar during Food and Wine Fest ... and even sometimes just happy conventioneers with large expense accounts.

But I'd rather see a few people having a good time than seeing an exec running the park without a clue (just bringing us back on topic).

Maybe it's time we Baker acted her scrawny littel rump roast!! All those drunken brawls with other guests, along with her constant 'watering of the bushes' has gotta stop some time!!
