This monitor shows the cars as they pass through the total darkness above, ( I guess they put it there to say "hey we are watching you in the dark so behave" ) only it became aparent that the young couple several cars in front if us had, as I had for prevous years, not noticed the camera that sees all. Anyway I watched in utter SHOCK as the unsuspecting couple engaged in some interesting acts of mischeif. I don't know for sure but judging from the laughter around me, I was not the only party privy to witness what I saw, and I could only think "Oh My God, is there anyone actually watching this camera other than the other riders?" Look for the monitor next time you ride Space Ship Earth...its on the left at the very beginning of the acent. You never know what you may see, and probably didn't want to see.

I have to say, it ruined the attraction for me so much that when we were offered to go back on the ride with no wait after the breakdown, I refused. This was last summer. Can't wait to go back on in March.

I've had to walk down from SSE and sat for twenty minutes on IASW because the attraction broke down and this wacky kid jumped off the ride and was walking around the while we waited for security to nab him, I suppose.

I have also been stuck in HM and had to walk out of Indiana Jones in DL.

Getting stuck on IASW was bad because you just had to sit there until the boat started moving again.

Well that is were are the truck broke down right on the bridge we sat through that annoying scene 16 times before they got the truck to start back up again. I aked why the hell did it keep going. They said its timed to go off every 5 min. I had to pee so bad after that because of all that shaking of the bridge. Then the damn thing stalled again right before the station and we had to walk to the exit. I told them they need to get some NEW trucks instead od using the ones from whence the parked open back in 19.... ohh i forget they just repair the stupid things. Well when i went back later that year they got new ones. I also got stuck on the Pirates of the Caribbean in the battle scene right next to a water cannon that usally does not get you wet because iteither goes off right before you reach it or after you pass it. But the ride broke down and brake systems stopped the boats and mine was right next to the cannon and we were in there for 45 min lisentinf to YO HO YO HO A PIRATES FRICKIN LIFE FOR ME. And then every so often a CM came over the speakers that stopped the music and said the maintence crew are working on the problem and it should be fied soon. When this happened the mounths of the priates and AA'S kept moving but all you heard was the CM's voice this went on for 45 crappy min

I have a 52" DLP TV at home in my family room as well as a 32" Sharp LCD in my bedroom. Soarin can't compare to what I have in my own home.
I also have a big issue with Disney's apartend progression toward "virtual" rides. It terms of Soarin you might as well stay home in front of a 52" DLP tv watching it while spraying pine and orange bathroom scents.
