I wanted to remind you about a Resort guest benefit that I had forgotten about. If you reads this before you leave let me know and I will post in this section. I would say I hope that is okay to go off topic but hey it is LP!

Normally I fly into John Wayne, but I found a better deal on JetBlue to Long Beach from Oakland. Anyhow, I don't think it'll really hit me until I actually arrive in the hotel lobby. I can't believe how long its been since I've been to a Disney park. You local Disney fans have no idea how lucky you are to have DLR right in your backyard.

I'm looking forward to reading about your tip.

Also DCA on M,W,F but another option can help if you are more interested in focusing on the new Carsland. They usually allow guests into DCA about half hour early every day to get World of Color Passes ( immediately in entrance by GrrrWater raft ride and then you can "walk" over to be closer to the FP machines at Bugsland for Cars land attraction. This might sound insignificant but the Cars is so much fun you will want to have Fps for morning and night and want to ride it everyday. The first time I rode it was the Grand opening(I was by myself) and I swore the car went to the right to get a " Paint Job" but every time our family rode it went to the left to get new tires. My family thought I was crazy until finally that last night our car magically went to the right and we got the paint job!!! Not so carazy after all!!! Well okay I admit to being Carazy about CARS. I find myself in such a happy mood about everything since my most recent trips...I am like a different person. I really had fun. I was there for the Grand Opening, came home, and rebooked flights and hotels just to go back over the Fourth of july. truly insane cause everything was last minute expensive. I am just telling you this to let you know it will be crowded but it is still so much fun. I hope you go with the flow and just enjoy your friends while you stand in the lines.
I also went to Trader Sam's. Every time you order certain drinks different things occur. I know this has been discussed. I only mention it to let you know it was shocking how expensive it was in comparison to the new Carthay Circle Bar Lounge. I think T.S is very expensive and can be easily ignored since it is casual and you won't realize it until the next day when you go to CC and compare your receipts! From my personal experience CC was a bargain (almost). You expect it to be expensive at a place like CC so you will think you should be more reserved but someplace like Trader Sams you will tend to get out of hand thinking it is just a bar...
I wish I could remember the name of the female bartender at the Carthay. She was originally at Trader Sams and actually was at WDW for many years but transferred to DL to work at Trader Sams and then went with the Carthay. Hopefully you will "talk" to the bartenders to figure this out cause she was great. You are supposed to ask for Walt's favorite drink. Also ask them to show you how the perfectly chilled round ice cube is made cause they will make one just for you!
If I think of anything else i will post again.
Oh yeah don't forget about the WOC dinner package at Carthay. If you plan to eat there anyway you might as well get them because they are supposed to be in the best viewing areas.
And lines will form in the morns for the resort guest entrance at DCA Grand Californian Hotel. You also have to go thru a slow security checkpoint. Don't know why they are slow but they were and you do need room key i.d.'s.
HAVE FUN. Wish I was going again!

I actually knew about this, but thanks for the reminder. I booked my trip through Disneyland.com and I must get an email once a week from Disney with information about vacation planning and tips.

I've mentioned here several times how much I hate standing in line. I'm prepared for the worst in Cars Land and I've decided that maybe one long wait for RSR won't be so bad since this will be my first time on the attraction. If I were stuck in a wait that long for Pirates I'd be really irritated.

I have plans to visit both Mickeymouseclub. In fact my WOC dinner will at Carthay Circle this Sunday! Yay!

"The switch is in the lamp...was expecting the twinkle but not the surprise extra affect!"

The Grand Californian is my favorite hotel at the resort and several people here suggested I mix it up this time and stay at the DLH. I think I'll be glad I did.

The wait in Radiator Springs might prove to be your worst wait ever for all eternity. The first day Grand Open straight to the ride with the flow of the crowd and the ride breaks down for 40 minutes of sheer torture because of the music blaring inside one of the garage sheds that you "q" thru...Hopefully they have closed or blocked those speakers because the music over and over again was horrible. I will never buy that soundtrack no matter how much I need it for my collection! I actually joked I would rather be listening to Shirley Temple On the Good Ship Lollipop over and over again!
I will be thinking of you having fun in a line and going crazy in the crowds.
And remember to heed those security guidelines about opening your hotel door to strangers! It won't be me but it might be the Witches! They have magic potions ! Remember the Wicked Witch from the West could see Dorothy wherever she was...
