Bush at WDW today...

    I was at Disney yesterday and didn't even know Bush was going to be there until I got home! We did not experience any above normal crowds on the roads and there was no delay on the monorail.

    President Carter was the only VIP I ever stood watch for,that made an effort to thank us.
    Funny story was watching the White house limo driver fixing up his radar detector cause he told me that the Maryland state troppers loved to catch White house cars speeding when the boss is not on board.
    This was a long time ago in a safer age I guess. I don't think they would dare stop for anythig today.

    Sounds like his style. Too bad more bigwigs (polititians or otherwise) don't have the courtesy to acknowledge the little people. ;)

    My next door neighbors were the guests of the president during the most recent State of the Nation address. Their son died in Iraq. His father, mother, and wife were sitting right behind the first lady I think. It's a pretty touching story but sad too. It was neat to see them on TV and hear the president single them out though.
