    Nonsense.

    Don't be so sure.

If you're not interested in the truth, why do you even bother to post here? If you just want to post incorrect information, you should just start a blog.

Actually, you did when you said "I'm quite sure that neither of the Presidential candidates the Democrats ran against President Bush had a better college GPA or SAT scores. " 2oony's link shows that Gore did in fact have better scores.

Care to admit you didn't have "the Truth" in this case, and in fact posted something untrue?

I'll admit that Mr Gore had a better SAT score. The rest of my statement still stands. SPP's statements are still erroneous.

If not, you shouldn't say it. You're already wrong on the SAT score. Your "truth" is looking pretty threadbare.

The rest of your statement that apparently still stands is "nonsense," in response to SPP.

Do you really believe that Doug, or are you just being sarcastic?

I'm sorry, but if you really think that George Bush is "smarter" in any way, shape or form than Al Gore...well, I'd have to say you're the dumb one then.

Obviously, getting elected involved more than intelligence...but MY point is, seriously, how scary is it that our own leader has no opinion or information about the near future of his own nations economic outlook?

Don't you find that disturbing, Doug?

Or would you rather just throw in some stupid quips about how Democrats suck?

Other people have beaten me to it, so I won't embarrass you any further and show you're wrong.

One thing strikes me. As I read your "response", all I could hear was some radio show host with his voice getting higher and higher yelling "It's the truth! It's the truth! That's nonsense!"

Wouldn't you rather have a leader that dares offer an opinion, an outlook, a "forward looking statement" of some sort?

Anything would have been better than "don't ask me, I'm a moron".

Even "well, we can't be certain about what economic factors will come into play here, nobody can predict the future, but considering all the information at my disposal my outlook would be xyz..."

You know, like a person who actually knows what they're talking about.

So, to say the people had an awful choice may be correct, but it was the people themselves that made it so. ;)

What is scary is that you think "our own leader has no opinion or information about the near future of his own nations economic outlook" based on his answer to one question.
