Which, of course, is the exact opposite of what a press secretary should do. A press secretary is supposed to answer questions and essentially serve as a P.R. rep for the Administration. Smooth things over, as it were. A press secretary who manages to have a good working relationship wiht the press is worth his/her weight in gold. Having a confrontational one is is an idiotic move for any Admistration, especially this one.

Why focus on one guy whey the pres corp all voted for Kerry and continue to ask stupid questions?

We can't have a conservative ask any questions? After all, the liberal media acts like plants for the democrats.

They deserve to be slapped around and confronted.

Helen Thomas style question that deserves the total smackdown..

" Uhhhhh.... Since this war is illegal and was for oil, how do you explain the people getting killed in Iraq? "

Ask a stupid question, get nailed hard and embaressed. That should be the new policy against the David Gregory types out there.

I hear Tony Snow is a possibility. He might be a good chaice.

Not really. I'm saying to whine about ONE guy when you have dozens of liberals in the press is pretty lame... don't ya think?

Gannon was gay. But he was a conservative so the ever so tolerant left smeared him for that also.

Exactly. And that's why things turned out the way they did for Mr. Gannon.

Of course, having a past as a call boy didn't help, either.

Since this is the reality and being nice to them gets you nowhere, you might as well fire back at them and put them in their place every single time they ask a stupid question.

The people who voted for Bush, which is the majority of voters would love it.

Well, the voters who voted for Bush who havn't turned into liberals spouting Michael Moore conspiracy theories.

Thing is, he never had a press card, and had to be signed into the white house each and every time - over three hundred times in total. And yet the secret service never discovered who he was. Or more likely, they knew exactly who he was and were told to permit him entry.
