However, most of them did it without the hysteria and misinformation that characterized the attacks from the left.

He simply wanted everyone to look at the economics of the deal, the fact that we don't own any of our own ports, who the UAE is, who would actually be in charge of port security, and to get all the facts before going into knee jerk reaction like so many on here have done. Turns out his approach was correct and he was basically on his own when this all went down. It's why he is number one.
