Has anyone had issues with too much outside noise while trying to get some sleep?

We also were on the second floor, so there was no one above us to be stomping around. I do remember hearing other people comeing and going a bit after getting into bed, but never too late in the night. It was cold when we were there, so no one seemed to use the pool at night. But I suppose if people were, you might be able to hear them.

He is a super light sleeper and hears every little noise. We'll request a room in the very back.
When we stayed at DLH last year the rooms were sound proof. I don't remember hearing much next door or in the hallway, except for the occaisional kid running and giggling..oh wait, that was my kid.
