The fact is, a liberal or even a moderate can't really argue their point very long with a strong conservative becaue the liberal bases their arguments on emotion and not solid facts. So what do they do once they get hit with a dose of conservative logic and reality?

They call you a bigot, homophobe, Nazi, facist, or something else, then they leave in a huff... as evidended here.

Many of the old stalwards here in WE stay because they seem to get some vicious glee in carping on their ideals, shoving them down other people's throats, calling them names -- and then when they 'cut and run' call them more names.

You don't see conservatives ever leave in a huff because we can back our opinions with logic and strong arguments. We don't say things like " Bush lied!" because that statement can't be backed up with facts.

We can say that the people in New Orleans were going to take their FEMA cash cards after hurricane Katrina and buy Malt Liquor, smokes, and lotery tickets because they did this!!!! I only wish I would have included strippers and designer jeans in their purchases.

I had the libs all over me on that one but I never backed down because I was right and I could show evidence that I was right. But to a lib I was a racist for telling the flat out truth.

I also can back up the fact that liberals can't be a bible following Christian without being screwed up and conflicted. But to a lib, that's hate speech even if it's true.

The left's constant attack on people who tell the truth makes them weak and irresposible and not capable of serious leadership roles. It's why they lose and it's why they cut and run from Iraq and debates.
