You're an oustider, and as such you're not expected to absolutely know all the right names that Disney puts on things. I saw a few girls just standing around staring off into space and momma HAUNTS and I were dismissed very rudely by two different CMs in different shops. I was thinking "OK, if THEY can get a job here so can I." Dan, I promise you I am a Disney geek in that I love it all, but I really don't know anything significant about Disney so I'm confident I don't have to worry about that. But thanks for the heads up. I can imagine what it would be like for an interviewer who actually does know all or almost all have to sit there and listen to a girl rant about knowing everything about nothing. All I need now is a haircut!

If someone spends all thier waking time in DL and knows the terminology and knows the schedules and knows what causes all the ride breakdowns . . . well, they start looking like Disney park geeks (which of course we all are!). Sometimes a company would rather hire someone who knows nothing about them and then train them properly, than to hire someone who knows "everything" and then you have to help them unlearn a bunch of bad stuff before they can learn the good stuff. It's best to be familiar with the subject but not a total freakin' brainiac about it. Again, good luck!
