I think 10 days would be better for me, then maybe I could sit by the pool or something, relax a little more. When you only go once a year - you don't want to leave the park.

Interesting to me....I thought my kids would be die hards. They told me that is the only place we went every year. GEE why would they want to go anywhere else. They don't even take the kids, I have to. Goof Balls....

(2 weeks total) That works out nice and we got to see something different which is what hubby wanted to do, but it always felt like vacation had finally started when we got to Harbour Blvd. You know the feeling you get when you are finally walking on DL property and you hear the music playing? Ahhhhhh, this is wonderful....that's the feeling. Well, this year we are back to 2 weeks in DL...and I have been worried that it might be too much. I'm glad to read these other posts to see that it's not! (Especially Disneywife with 3 weeks!

There is just a magic there that doesn't exist anywhere else. This was our second trip in nine months. It was nice to be able to return to the hotel in the afternoon (it was so hot) and rest or swim then return to the park later. We stayed at the Park Place Inn and Mini Suites which is at the cross walk to the resort so it was a quick trip back. I recommend booking at least one extra night and taking an entire day of rest for your aching feet. Hang out at the pool, eat in Downtown Disney. It will go a long way to preserve your feet and your enjoyment of the park. It would be really nice to go when the park is not so hot and crowded. Even after six days there were a few things we did not get to do. I am planning a trip to WDW next summer and will probably stay about ten nights so we have time to enjoy ourselves.

At WDW, I can do a day, day and a half per park max. I think DLR is much more relaxing and I feel less 'herded'.

I think I go in waves, sometimes I can't get enough, sometimes another hour is too much. I think it's just like everythng in like, too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

I never understood why people needed a hotel room.
