And it will show up as a thread talking about how careless those damn ECV people are, that they are fat and lazy and use them to mow down innocent bystanders. That is something that gets my blood pressure up every time when I read someone complaining about how people use strollers to ram through crowds. I'm sure it happens on occasion, I'm not sure intentionally, but, it is spoken as if it is the only thing people do with them. The reality is that the majority of those that get hit by them were not paying attention to what was around them and they usually will have stepped into them, not the other way around.

I say that people that either are so oblivious to their surroundings or so entitled to think that everyone has to anticipate their every move should be walking around with multiple bruises on their self involved little ankles.

OK, I feel better now. Carry on with a rational discussion. Thanks for helping. :)

Did the child cry? I'd pay money to see that.

I think at Disney Parks that is partially a side-effect of increasing prices. People figure "By damn I PAID for a DREAM VACATION and I'm going to get it no natter what it takes or who else it impacts!"

Nowadays, not only do people want discounts but also high value service. The nerve. Gotta go, I have my labor law mandated 15 minute break, and you just have to wait.

I also heard the cast member loudly announcing on Main Street to guests at DL: Please stand in line to take pictures of characters. You are not allowed to take pictures please stand in line. So do you think Disney is trying to entice people to spend money with the PhotoPass Package or trying to control rude guest behavior? I have felt the crowd that forms for their free cell pics is blocking my exit and perhaps creating a potential dangerous situation. Especially at the new Radiator Springs exit which involves steps.
Got opinions? Disney being greedy or cautiously legal?

My partner works for Marriott. We went for 8 days at the Ko Olina Resort within walking distance from Aulani. We booked thru Marriott friends and family plan for 8 days at the resort. Stayed in a villa, rental car and round trip airfare from Florida to Hawaii and a 1 hr. helicopter ride over the island was a total of $4000.00. Wanted to do Disney World like I had always wanted to do it stay at the CR and do one of the things on my bucket list. We had the money too and even with the Florida discount the room rate at CR and Aulani would have been more than the whole cost of our trip. I went to Aulani one day and looked around. It's nice. But I saw so many unhappy adults there that were probably maxing out their Credit Cards for the "Disney Magical Experience" ! They were just miserable and you could tell they had the attitude of" I spent this much I expect this and that". On the other hand it was calm at our resort and for me it was needed. I was sick for 4 yrs. and didn't know if I would live. We were able to pay for our trips and the things we have by cash. We have no credit Cards and have done well. We had $5000.00 to spend for those 8 days if we wanted the resort was so calm. The adults were just relaxing and the kids were just having fun. Not forced fun because they were paying so much for that" Disney Magical Moment". I want to do the Disney thing but they have gotten to big for their britches. But I think I will let that bucket list item go unfilled. Why cause it is not worth it to me anymore. I would rather go back to another part of Hawaii. Maui this time and just cool out. Sorry Disney you have out priced and sorely disappointed this long time fan and visitor with the money to spend to go back. And for me thats a sad thing. I have lost that Disney feeling. I know I can't get that Magical Moment I had when visiting in 1982 . No one can do that. But for me at least I have those memories and can say it was great then. This make me sad to actually say. Disney is no longer special or important to me any more.

I have to admit, while I would like to see Carsland I still don't feel motivated enough to burn a few grand on a Disney vacation. Instead, we are planning on taking a river cruise in Europe.

The young guy behind the counter was so rude that I returned the next day to complain to the manager who was almost as rude. I now travel a mile further down the road to a different restaurant.
