There was this theater attraction, Days of Thunder, based on the movie of the same name...the park was owned by Paramount at the time. Anyhoo, each pair of seats was on a rudimentary motion base, and would bank left or right, buck, etc. to the action on the screen. A completely hokey effect, especially when you saw everyone else around you bobbing around.
