I actually love that way of quoting and find it much easier. These boards might not look as colourful as others, but they are simple and easy to use. The only thing I miss now and then is a possibility to edit my posts...

You are more like a frontier to the northern part of Germany ). >>They call it Euro Disney here as well. If you tell someone that you're going to Disney, they look at you with big eyes. Since you are from Germany you are familiar with the German TV show "Wetten Dass..?". A few years ago that show was broadcasted from DLRP, but no one believes me. They used the car stunt show stage in WDSP. Maybe you remember that show as well? >Easy: copy paste and then add something to show that it is a quote, you will see that different people use different styles.< >Highlight, control C and then control V. < Thanks a lot!

Just to warn you Dagobert, this site is quiet on DLP, but the content on other resorts is excellent, especially the business side. One of the things I love is no photos, graphics etc. to get in the way. So using a dongle on my netbook now, or my blackberry this morning, it is much more user friendly IMHO. As for the lack of an edit, I think it is much easier for moderators to moderate. Other message boards simply delete threads sometimes (most annoyingly).

I remember that I desperately wanted to watch that show but somehow couldn't. I used to be a great Gottschalk fan when he was still doing the afternoon radio show on Bavarian radio in the 80s. <<Now that's a long (and depressing) story... I know that there have been "problems" with consumer spending in Germany for a long time, but in the last four years I would say things really have changed.

But you could also argue that DLP has stagnated while other tourist destinations have become higher quality and a lot more affordable.

By the way I tried to find a video of the DLRP show, but there is none. Germany and Austria are known for high quality hotels and many families are just not willing to pay so much mony for run down hotels. I would also love to hear the long version why our market is so neglected by ED SCA, while the comic books, movies and Disney in general are so popular over here.

I assume they do that in DLP too, not just the US parks, right?

If I'm not mistaken Disneyland Paris was the first resort that used the printed cover of the scaffolding.

The ship is like the one from DL's Fantasyland pre 1981. When fully operationally, you can go on deck and play with the ships' wheel. They have been known in the early days of the park to have fencing demonstrations. About 8 years ago, they had a little Peter Pan stunt show (like the Disneyland Fantasmic section). Under the decks is a snack bar, that in opening year sold tuna sandwiches (a wink to the DL Chicken of the Sea). I haven't seen the snack bar open in about 12 years.

I was devostated when DL's fantasyland opened without it, and thrilled when we got a bigger and better version in Paris.
