My room was great. My only complaint with the lodge was the the bushes needed trimming on the way to the bus stop.

Like a quiet moment spent in anticipation of an event.

We are also hearing horrendous reports online about huge crowds for Harry Potter. Staying on property at Universal is expensive. I am paying 291-AAA discount for the last 2 nights of our trip. I just made reservations last week. Staying onsite also offers boat transport, walking distance,pedi-cabs. Guests receive front of line access and early entry. Does not sound like much but for Harry Potter IT IS a BIG Advantage. This age group for the boys is a really cool experience. You will think it is very cool also! So the highlights of my upcoming trip is staying at the Bay Lake Tower and the Hard Rock. You might want to consider pricing the BLT(WDWContemporary). They reserve rooms for non-member rentals or do as RT suggested and rent points. I alternate between being a hotel snob or a value guest. So the only places I will stay are POP Century( which I love)or BLT or Polynesian. p.s.my DVC Home Resort is the Wilderness but in all honesty I have only stayed once! Another suggestion is not to delay making your room and dining reservations!!!

I've sometimes had 20 minute waits, which aren't that bad to be fair ... and sometimes if I'm in a hurry I'll just take the boat to the Contemporary and walk right on through it.
