    Ah ha! Thank you.

Well, since you're offering....I have a list of chores a mile and a half long of things I haven't been able to get to. How do you feel about scrubbing bathrooms and waxing floors? :)

Leave your keys on the front porch, and when you're out of town, and I'm in your town, I'll swing by and take care of all of that stuff for you!

I think the formula of their baked potato soup changed as it was a bit grainy when I got a cup of it. The veggie burger is very bland and breaks apart too easily. My friend got the hamburger and she said it was "okay", but a little on the dry side. It took them 15 minutes to give us our water first time out (not good as it was warm and humid), which is a big restaurant 'no no'. But as I said before, they just opened and I'll give them another chance to iron things out. Besides, my mom is happy they serve fried chicken dinner as she gets a craving for it everytime we visit. LOL

Breakfast was tasty and loved the atmosphere as always. The only down side to our experience was that we had asked for the last breakfast seating (called the reservation line) and were given 11:45. They were wrong, that is not the last seating for breakfast the hostess informed us as well as 3 other groups of hopeful diners. The hostess desk grumbled out loud about how they wish they could make the reservations as the reservation line is constantly making mistakes. But Carnation cranked back up the griddles after we expressed our disappointment.

We tried dinner the following night. The hostess desk was welcoming and our waitress was very nice but the food was awful.

One of us had the burger, and the bun was rock hard and the meat was tough and tastless. Another of us had the meatloaf that at the time she said the first bite tasted a bit off but she said she thought it was just her. Later in the middle of the night she came down with food poisoning. The meatloaf was the only thing different she ate from us all day. She won't EVER eat that meatloaf again!

I had the soup which was delish and I shared that with everyone else. We also shared an order of the fried pickles and we loved them. They were hot, fresh, and yummy.

We will continue to have breakfast at CC but we won't be having dinner there again. YUCK!

We ate there this past Sunday 6/24 and had the complete opposite experience.

We had a reservation but didn't get seated until about 30-40 min after that time. The hostess desk had three people working it. Honestly, even though the castmembers were nice, I think only one of the three knew what she was doing.

Our waitress was super nice and food was brought out in good time.

There were four of us. Two ordered the Chile burger - we LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Another ordered the meatloaf - she LOVED it and the last one ordered a Turkey sandwich - said it was good.

I'd say my only complaint was getting seated so much later then my reservation. (it was odd too because they had empty tables.)

All in all, I'll go again.
