However, I think to make the show more fun/relevant to modern audiences, COP would need to return to the same type of time spread as it originally had i.e. roughly each scene shows an advance of 20 years. When COP debuted at the 1964 World's Fair, you basically had scenes from the 1900's, 1920's, 1940's and 1960's. In 1964, you would also have had audience members who had lived during all 4 of those eras. For a similar experience today, you would need scenes from the 1940/50's, 1960/70's, 1980/90's and 2000's. And I think such a set up would still work. Think about the differences in fashion, much less technology, between those eras.
