I think that there are many people visiting that either weren't alive at the time or were young enough to not remember. History is not just one persons. I lived through the 50's so I would guess that the third show should be thrown out as well. I suspect that some visitors lived during the time demonstrated by the second show as well...it's out! It's a pretty safe bet that no one that presently visits lived within the time of the first show...it's safe...whew!

If it's slipped into the past, then it's way past time to update it.

It doesn't need that old message of what will make it a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. It would just show where we were, make note of the probability of great things in the future and let it be a classic Walt inspired attraction.

I don't think the last scene needs to be a nostalgic look at the 80's. As I said it needs to depict the not too distant future as it did once. I don't even a little bit mind the larger gap between scenes. I'm smart enough to understand that the 3rd scene is the 50's or early 60's, and the last scene jumps way forward. If it's 20 years or 60, it just doesn't matter to me. The last scene gives purpose to the others, in that there's a future to look forward to.

It might have worked in the 60's when technical advances were moving but at a slower pace, now...not so much. Too much, too fast to keep up and impossible to stay ahead, IMHO! The only way it might work would to be more along the lines of Sci Fi. Bubble community on another planet, like Horizons tried to do.

Hire the construction people and lets kick this puppy in the butt and get it moving. I'm heading down to WDW the first week in December. Do you think we can have this done by then. I'd like to be able to critique it.

Agreed that the last scene could be improved, but overall it's a really neat piece of the Disney parks legacy that I hope never goes away.

They can make exhibits about the past, but not just let them slip into history.
