Spectro was the next best thing after MSEP and to take it away would be devestating. Disney Dreams Come True Parade can be thrown out at anytime Disney feels like it. Looking at all the parades from the other parks, Disney Dreams is the worst. They should have gotten an entirely new parade for the 50th Anniversary. They're like Wal-Mart in park form.

Then we drive out, turn around the bend and drive right into the Radiator Springs town. At nighttime, all the neon lights would be on with the bee-bop 60's music playing.

There is no way they would let you drive anything with any sort of speed, there is no way they would let you drive without a track, and there is no way at all that Disney would even consider allowing vehicles to drive through Catastrophe Canyon with the motion tables moving. If it were done at all, I would bet money that it would be almost as boring as the Indy Speedway.

The backlot tour could be repurposed into something better, but a Cars Go-cart ride is not it.

If one wanted a themed Cars attraction, I would want something other then just go-carts. They have a low capacity and, as I mentioned earlier, inherent storytelling limitations as well as safety limitations. I am not against the idea for a Cars version of Catastrophe Canyon, but the ride system would be unsatisfying.
