There were occasionally tough ones, but usually not so many that people got kicked out. Every now and then there were really dumb people who would get pretty easy questions wrong, but they were in the minority by far. The longer the ride, the more money they racked up.

I guess now it's more based on actual knowledge, but I kind of enjoyed seeing people answer questions that I know the answers to as well. Now that it's harder, it's not quite as fun to watch, because I don't know all the answers. I guess the same could be said about shows like Jeopardy as well, but Jeopardy seems to usually be questions that I knew the answer to at some point, but have since forgotten, or things that you have to think up on the spot. With Cash Cab, these days it really seems to be a matter of luck with the questions you get. There is a very real chance that you will get a question or two that you have absolutely no idea how to even start on.

And as for the bonus round at the end, I would totally go for it. Sure, there's the threat of losing all your money, but that's always going to be there. Generally, I've found the video round to have much easier questions than the rest of the show, which is kind of a nice reward for the people who are willing to go for it. And the way I look at it, the worst case scenario is that you just got a free cab ride across town. Not too bad, in my opinion.

See in the Canadian version look for the only Blue and yellow Sienna minivan (There are other minivan cabs but in colours like Orange and Green)

I prefer the pop knowledge of the US version, but I find the Canadian host "friendlier" but that's just my 2 cents worth. That said there's a lot more American episodes. I so want to see the Australian, English version etc.

I'm pretty sure this is one of the stages of getting older. Maybe losing my hearing as I age will be a *good* thing.

There are a couple little things that hold the ceiling in place, but other than that, there's really no way to tell a computer where in the ceiling it is, making it pretty tough to get the image to sit correctly in the screen. Also, the lights bounce off the people's heads, an effect that would be very difficult to do with CGI (though not impossible, just expensive). When compared to the costs of most game show sets, buying a minivan, sticking a couple monitors, cameras, and a light up ceiling in it really doesn't seem that expensive. Have you guys ever thought about how much it would cost to build the Jeopardy! set (that gets a copy built each year for college week) or the Wheel of Fortune one (which seems to get built all over the country)? Sure, it's pretty much a set on a stage in front of an audience, but that stuff is surprisingly expensive.

A headliner isn't too hard to put up. I'm guessing this one is similar in colour but smooth to the original in the Sienna.
