I have only seen TDL's version of the HMH and thought it was a nice re-take on the ride for a seasonal offering. So, I appreciate it for what it is: a seasonal incentive for me to see something slightly different in an old attraction we all know inside and out, which adds value to my overall experience at the park. Since it is not a permanent makeover.. it doesn't bother me as much. Frankly? I feel the way you do about the recent POTC Depp makeover which to me was a real downer and a waste of my time and theirs. But let's get to the really important issues here... How come DL's HM has already had numerous upgrades in the technical dept (floating Leota/new bride/etc etc...) while we at WDW's HM have gotten *NOTHING* that appears to be new (except for the toobstones that opens the eyes in the queue and most times is inop) inside an attraction that looks like it did in 1971 still??? THAT is what bothers me the most about some aspects of the MK. Why hasn't some of the techincal aspects learned from the design of Phantom Manor at DLP, or some of the techical upgrades from TDL and DL's HMs NOT found their way to the HM at WDW????
