On the other hand to indicate that religious people are not intelligent is ridiculous and supremely wrong, for a multitude of reasons. The first being that it is trying to imply some sort of inferiority. The mere fact that you try to even compare this article and my statement regarding the lack of religiousness with some scientists is proof that you do not realize how insulting that article is. I don't know any "religious person" who would not be insulted by such a fatuous statement.

You indicate that you don't beleive this way and that is fine. What is not fine is the various ways that very thought process finds it way into the mindset of many people. If anyone on these posting boards find that they lean towards believing what that article has to say, I suggest you find another board to spread you hatred.

If you change the wording from "most scientists" to "most minorities", this post would be racist.

I don't defend the thought process. And I don't think it's prevalent in the Democratic Party any more than I think that Pat Robertson's views are prevalant in the GOP. They're just the loud fringe.

Well, ok, Giraffes and Okapi are in their own group, but here is a blurb about them that I was basically trying to say, but this does it better.

    >>The Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) is an even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest of all land living animal species. Males can be 4.8 to 5.5 metres (16 to 18 feet) tall and weigh up to 900 kilograms (2000 pounds). Females are generally slightly shorter and weigh less.

Native to Africa, the Giraffe is related to deer and cattle, but is placed in a separate family, the Giraffidae, consisting only of the gGraffe and its closest relative, the Okapi.

There are nine generally accepted subspecies, differentiated by color and pattern variations and range:<<
