No problem! I hope everyone notices that every restaurant we were in had something that we enjoyed whether it is a waiter, a theme, great food or all of the above. The prices were high but I have to say that overall our restaurant experiences were a big positive part of our trip .

I also give a restaurant several attempts before I completely scratch them off my list. Unless it was like Norway, where I know I probably just don't like the type of food that is being served.

It seems to have more than its share of negative reviews, yet I've never had a bad meal there. And I've been dining there once or twice a year since the early 90's, so they've had plenty of opportunity to screw up. Don't get me wrong - some meals have not been as great as others, and some waiters could've done better. But overall they put out a great meal (for a high price!).

That's good Dan that you've had nothing but positive experiences there. You have to admit though their prices have been steadily going up, while the number of menu items have steadily declined. Let's face it. You have limited seafood dishes there now, and it's a travesty that you can't get a lobster dish. I have never eaten there myself so I really can't say how I feel one way or the other.

I think a lot has to do with each person's individual taste, and what they are accustom to at home. Also I really feel the suroundings of the resort play into how a person feels.

It reminds me of one of the last times we ate at Alfredo's, our favorite restaurant at Epcot. We ordered the Fettucini Alfredo, and both agreed it was not as good as it once was. The people next to us were raving about how it was the best they had ever eaten. So I think it's fair to say most reviews or honest opinions, but are also subjective in nature.

    Well said.

I think the idea that the Coral Reef is serving seafood from The Seas tank is sorta a marketing thing without much basis in fact. Same with Living With The Land - yeah, the foods are probably served up in park restaurants, but they're such a small percentage of the whole as to not really make any difference.
