Very thin, very clean glass, with the exact same ph as the water around it, so that it's almost invisible. Very well executed!

This one really bothers me, because as I see it there was no reason at all to discontinue it. The same projection that carried the chariott also carried fire along the roadways, making this scene really stand out. Now it's just kinda blah. Bad show, Disney!

Yeah, that was one of the best details in the old SSE.

I guess I'm not enamored with Epcot like a lot of you are. SSE, the Seas, and the Land/Soarin' are the only attractions I always visit in Future World. Maybe Test Track, but only if I'm killing time for something else. I almost always skip Energy, M:S, Imagination. And without fail I skip Innoventions.

It's funny how a few years can change your perception of a place. A few years ago I thought Epcot was in pretty good shape, but now it seems like it needs more attention--especially Imagination, Wonders of Life, and Energy (and if we were honest, Test Track does, too).

I guess that's the problem with having four theme parks. It's like the circus act with the spinning plates. Epcot could use some updating, but so could MK and DAK and MGM. I think the entire WDW Resort would have been so much better off if they only had three theme parks to manage and keep up to date.

They got rid of it because it looked like a ghost, and WDI didn't have the money to upgrade it during the refurb.

Can't say I disagree with their decision.

You both have exceptional Kids, and Grandkids. While I love Epcot now, I'm afraid I would have been totrally bored with it as a child.

What was the street performance in France this year?
    --------

a combo mime and balancing act-- stacking 6-10 chairs up and standing atop -- was entertaining

agree and that scene completed the thought there to move on with the dark ages..

also I love Judy Dench as an actress in almost anything she's been in..but the narration is kinda flat

Didn't see any live entertainment in France, but we saw a mime/juggler in Italy this summer who was really good. But he used a whistle. He blew it so much I wanted to shove it down his throat. Except for the whistle he put on a really good show.

We saw him a few years back. Pretty entertaining. I still miss Bubbles Nicholas though.

I so agree. It's almost as if her heart really isn't into it.

Saw him before too, and felt the same way.

Personally, I can't blame her. I just think it's a poor, poor script. The past ones were very dramatic and sweeping.

This one seems to try and be much more light hearted, which is a poor decision.

If it had been serious, Bond-esque, and actually dramatic, as SSE is supposed to be, her voice would have accented that.

    We need her "M" voice!

Otherwise, the attraction is still my favorite.
