Celebration for me means proximity to many of our friends (and my mom's side of the family in Sarasota/Tampa Bay area) so something like that is a definite plus.. I'm not keen on FL otherwise.. everything is spread out and the traffic on I-drive is freaking NUTS. I like Celebration because I know I could get a Smart Car and do my own thing.. I wouldn't consider doing anything like that anywhere else in the country and especially not in California.. We have family that lives in Kona and knowing how much it costs to live there even on an ancient lava flow is just NUTS but you pay for paradise in location & band-aids I guess.

I am 51 but have 14 years left on my mortgage 2. I still have a 12 year old at home and a 21 year old also - both girls - 2 weddings to pay for and one more college 3. my company did away with pensions 6 years ago...so the replacement cash fund would last about a year.... social security -- yeah right..hahahaha so it's work until you can't work no more....or drastic life style changes..probably some of both... by the way since I work from home, missing the next staff meeting just means missing the call-- they probably wouldn't even check

Okay, that was way off topic. LOL. Soooo... I wouldn't mind living in Celebration, but I'd hate central Florida weather. I'd rather live closer to DL for that reason alone.
