Of course - it was so hot last week, that eating outdoors was not something that we wanted to be doing a lot of - so that also made this a less than desireable location for us to dine.

Even though my DD is free because she is two, they still brought her a sipper cup with milk to have with the meal. This was unexpected and a nice touch. We received our food and it was a neat presentation to have it in the buckets and dishes. The new lunch menu does not have corn or the sausage as that comes only with dinner. Lunch comes with chicken, ribs, beans, spicy cole slaw, and corn bread. None of us liked the chicken (which was universally dry, no matter how much sauce you slathered on it) or the cole slaw. However, the ribs were good as was the cornbread. The best thing I could saw for this was it was all you can eat; otherwise it would have been a bust as a meal. We had to track down our waitress anytime we needed anything, because after the first round she kind of vanished. Most of the time, the nice guy filling up the drinks ended up helping us. Even he had trouble locating her to get our check. My DF decided he had no desire to return, and I would have to agree with him. I have paid less for a better meal at Cafe Orleans.
