    No, there isn't. The zebras haven't been on display in the Savannah for years.

    The only other safair i have been on was at Sandiego. It costs a lot of money but you get to feed/pet giraffes and Rhinos. For being a free safari WDW has a good version.

    I did the "drive through Safari" at Sex Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. I was pretty lame compared to KS. Although recently I saw a 60 minutes program on endangered african animal species on ranches in Texas. Great program. Just wish KS had more endangered african species.

He felt strongly that it was important that the park carried that theme. Since Eisner has been gone for awhile there doesn't seem to be anyone too interested in maintaining that. I think that once Disney decided to remove the jeep with the poachers race towards the end of KS, it was time to lose the Little Red subplot. I think KS does just fine as a stand alone safari without the poacher thing. I also think adding animals to the end of the attraction is a great idea.

    They could easily do without the "chase the poachers" subplot on the KS - just make it more of an animal attraction.

    The primary attraction of the ride should be the animals and not some back story leading up to a gunfight with special effects.

    Good point - they have a rapids ride in DCA which does not include any message about deforestation or loss of species due to building dams in the Sierras. They could probably lighten things up a bit on the Kali River ride without too much trouble.
