It's a shame that some ducklings can't appreciate the original thinking of the person who brought Disney theme parks to life in the first place. ORDDU: Walt Disney World's version of Pirates has a very unimaginative ending, if you ask us. It ends very bluntly and makes you feel as though the ride broke down and that you need to evacuate the attraction before it's really finished.

It doesn’t work for me because you have just floated past the Blue Lagoon restaurant and then proceed up hill.

So, it's entirely possible, and would seem to make more sense to have it entirely indoors since HK can have such dismal weather. They're really going to have to cover those outdoor flumes like DLP did, and that alone will be different from the DL original.

I've never heard it described like that before, but it is exactly how I feel every time I get off. It just leaves me with the feeling of "...and?" that just sort of confuses me for a while, until I forget about it.

Makes little sense to me.>> The boats going uphill don't bother me one bit ... it's DL(P) ... why can't a boat travel uphill? As for the caverns at the end, the story plays out in more of a linear timeline fashion. You see the Pirates alive and doing what they did ... then you see the result. In my mind, it makes more sense than the other versions. <<I must admit I hate Phantom Manor. It is just a glorified Haunted House attraction and the ending is just ghastly. I personally think they destroyed everything that is amazing about the Haunted Mansion there. The storyline just doesn't hold together and isn't well told at all.>> Again, I disagree (it does feel like all is right in the world again). PM carries a story through where there really isn't one stateside ... except for the stuff that fanboys created thru the years, which isn't accurate and why WDI has changed the attic scene in Anaheim to try and tell a story a bit. I absolutely love the DLP versions ... as well as the DL ones ... as well as the MK ones (although it would be nice if they got the TLC they so very much require). I'm glad they aren't all the same. And I'm hoping the PoC for HKDL will truly be the hybrid Pirate Mountain tyoe concept being talked about.

I do wish they would hide the few instances where you see some supports, etc., but it never detracted too much for me.
