    You read that right. For the massive labor and obviously huge cost involved in doing absolutely NOTHING to my account, they charged me $2.50 a month. And, of course, all that while they HAD my money to lend out at interest rates far higher than they were giving me.

    I had more than the minimum amount for "no fees," had I actually used the ATM even once a month. But by not using it or making any transactions at all, the $2.50 kicked in.

    The whole thing just struck me as absurd, but when I complained, I was told that it was indeed explained in my contract. Reading the microscopic print somewhere in paragraph 54 out of 97, I discovered it was true.

    Major "caveat emptor" moment. As well as a "I freaking hate these banks" moment.
