    I have, and Leviticus 23:22 reads, "'When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.'"

    1 John 3:17-18 reads, "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."

    Statistically most republicans are evangelical.

    Statistically evangelicals, who have a "personal connection with Christ," are the most likely to vote opposite biblical teachings.
