The last several years they've been reserved for people who bought a high-ticket dinner at specific restaurants. The reservation process for that doesn't happen til much closer in, and last year it was an absolute disaster (done over the internet and their server crashed, or something!).

However, last year we got to the park about 45 minutes before the start and got a close standing position from which we could hear wonderfully, but could also see very little. Because this is a concert and a mostly auditory experiance, that didn't bother me. I know many other people have had success in enjoying a day at the park and swooping in for their bench seat as soon as the first preformance of the evening is over, waiting then for a little over an hour for the second preformance. So, the lesson is, there are always trade offs.

    We are still chosing our dates for this December. We usually go the 2nd week of Dec. but this year I'm feeling like I want to be there for Candlelight again :)

    We have done many trips right before Thanksgiving and SW has changed over by then.
