It's funny about homemade gifts, my husbands family never gave homemade gifts it just wasn't thought to be proper... Well, I can in and changed that. Didn't know it at the time. So I decided to make every group a quilt, about 14 of them. and every year after that I would make something. After 5yrs of doing that other people stared giving homemade gifts. My husband told me that I made it more personal and they liked it. I've done simple to flavored butter to signature quilts. I think I'm doing truffles this year because I love chocolate. Because it's all about me you know. LOL JK. I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. Oh I can't wait.

This week I start some of my wrapping and tagging of gifts that I have already purchased-I will put bows on them later. I will then store them away in my closet in a Rubbermaid container. It is sooo much fun to be able to put the presents out around the tree as soon as the tree is up!

We are having a heat wave where I am so it *is* kinda hard to think about Christmas right now. lol. Once in a while I will do a "Christmas in July" day where the kids and I plan out our crafts and menus and update our Christmas card list and stuff like that. This year is flying by though so I'm not sure what is gonna happen this July! LOL.
