Making him veep would only make the influence official; if you like Bill, you know he'd have influence anyway, so it would be unnecessary - thus no upside politically to choosing him. If you hate Bill, the idea of him being Veep would drive you into apoplexy.

    Since there's no requirement that a Supreme Court judge have a law degree or be an attorney, why would being disbarred have any bearing on the ability to be appointed?<
