I've never heard of that website before, so I can't vouch for its credibility, but it would explain why the Royal St courtyard has been under construction for so long. And I would certainly appreciate having the second floor space return to guest use after all these years, even if it's not something I'd see every visit

That said, there are a few things that just don't quite seem right to me. First, I'm not sold on the courtyard entrance; they already have a grand entrance with the stairs over the POTC queue, and an elevator around the side by Tarzan's Treehouse; why would they need to locate the main entrance in the awkward courtyard? And given all the blows that Club 33 has gotten in recent years (new park ticket rules, hugely expanded membership with 1901 in DCA, loss of most historic features), I'm not sure I believe that they would be willing to give up their exclusive claims to fine dining and alcohol in the park

I know nothing of this website's credibility, but there certainly seems to be something semi-major going on in the courtyard. I'll be curious to see what comes of this
