I guess he asked CM member while I was doing some shopping and they told him he had ten minutes to get me back to the castle which he did then popped the question. It was very romantice since it was a childhood dream!!!! The CM were very polite and they took pictures for us with our camera which turned out amazing and took some with their cameras(The camera girl came in running). They gave us VIP seating afterwards but we didn't take it cuz we wanted to sit with family. They even gave us a complimentary photo. They managed to put this together in ten minutes, can't imagine what they would do with a little more notice. I recommend this way, it was a crowd pleaser!!!!

I think that if this is her special place, then anywhere will be good. Maybe a ride, or the castle at twilight. But I like the Fantasmic! idea. But good luck and dont be nervous.

Blue Bayou should be open soon Late June / Early July.

It's not Club 33, but they do share the same kitchen.

Exactly. If you're really a member then you just have to call in reservations and they can pick up passports and go to the Club. It's not nice to give false hope...

Members are the only ones who can make reservations. No one else can call the Club and make the reservation (except, of course, an administrative assistant, etc. but the Club member's number is used and the passports can be set up in anyone's name.) Post 31 just doesn't make sense because that's not how Club 33 membership works.

Either you're a member or you're not.

She can't make the reservations herself unless she's a member. If she knows a member well enough to get her own reservations whenever she wants then, then she could ask the member to make reservations for this Guest as well. That's the point.

    Disney Joy,
Someone would make a reservation for someone they didn't know because they were doing someone else a favor. It doesn't mean, though, that people should just go around asking everyone they don't know if they want reservations for Club 33. People do have a sense of discretion, and I would think, though the Club member that I am not, that proposing is a completly valid enough reason for someone to be let into Club 33, whether they personally know a member or not. Maybe there is a Club member out there that happens to peruse this forum, who is kind enough to offer and contact me to find out if I actually want to propose, or if I want to go up and squirt ketchup all over the walls and drop deviled eggs on the people in New Orleans Square from the balcony above, and try to break into the Fantasmic control room to make the dragon burn down Tom Saywer's Island. But if anyone really wanted to know, I would like to propose to my girlfriend in Disneyland. But I don't want to ask her somewhere where a trillion people have asked their whatevers to marry them. I want somewhere special. NOS is both of our favorite part in Disneyland, and because it's all under tarps, and the BB is closed, there's really no special place to ask her. I want it to be memorable (not to say that squirting ketchup and dropping egg-bombs, and burning down a third of Disneyland wouldn't be memorable). So to answer your question, I would invite people that I didn't know into Club 33. I would do it because it would want to be a part of doing something that they will remember forever. But I guess that (and a couple of thousand dollars to spare per year) is the difference between me and a member of Club 33.

I think you're right about not needing to know someone to help them have a special day, but also please realize that there are plenty of other locations in the Resort where you can have a special, intimate proposal without going to the Club. I should never have indicated that I even have connections at the Park because now I'm in the exact same boat as PrincessBlondie. I opened my mouth and did the same thing she did. I apologize that I did that. My point in posting it was that unless someone is a Club member and is able to help you it's sort of pointless for them to post on here that they're able to go but you're not. I'll stop now, because I feel awful that I posted that information about myself without being able to help you.
