I understand that Club 33 membership isn't something that's super stuffy, and I also understand that it's probably not going to happen, because it's like getting into Fort Knox. I appreciate everyone that has told me that they would help if they could. We just need some of those people to become Club members. I also understand that there are billions of other options for asking my girlfriend someway that we'll both fondly remember for the rest of our lives. In fact, (not that I've given up on trying to get into Club 33) I'm going to call Guest Relations on Monday asking for a private meal in the Plaza Gardens. Hopefully that will work out. So, if anyone has any legitimate connections that can help with that department (surprisingly, that seems a little bit easier), the help would be much appreciated. I am from Portland and I officially know 0 Cast Members. So if anyone would care to toss word out, that would be great.

As I said before I am not an offical member therefore I CANT NOT make reservations for someone else.

Also imadisneygal I dont recall myself writing "I'd love to help you and I can get in myself but I can't do anything for you. Sorry!" or "I know someone who can get me in, but not you." dont go changing what I'm writing to make it look better in your eyes. It's not nice to put things in peoples mouths... I don't think you would want anyone doing that to you. I was just stating that if I was going to be in the park at that time I would be able to get them in. I never once said I was an offical member. I was not trying to brag in anyway shape or form. It is simply that I can make reservations but they have to be in my name and I have to be there to claim the tickets. So please stop making me out to be this mean bragging person. Thats not who I am at all.

So AndyPullen I'm sorry... I would have never posted my first comment had I known it would have been taken the wrong way by anyone. It has taken away from your topic and has been turned in to a childish argument because someone seems to have to be the correct one when they are clearly not reading my comments correctly. So once again I am sorry for any false chances I have given you. I didnt mean to do that... I was just trying to simply say that I would love to be able to do it for you but I cant because I cant be there on those dates to get you in. If I was I would do it in a second to make it special for you and her.

Your girlfriend is lucky to have a guy like you willing to go to so much trouble to make your engagement special.

As long as your girl knows you put some thought into it, she love you anyways.

I understand it's special to many people and many more people are dying to get in. There are far nicer restaurants (Napa Rose being one). I understand they are not in DL, but there are other places in the park that are far easier for you to access and even more special.

I think I would want my boyfriend to propose anywhere that held special meaning for us. Like the Blue Bayou or the funnel cake place in DCA (because I like funnel cake :)

Or just anywhere that there would be a picture taken...like in front of the castle, or on a ride like Splash Mountain or Space Mountain or something like that.

My dad proposed to my mom on a roller coaster, so it would be kind of cool to keep the tradition going.

My plan was this....during the big lift right before the large drop I was going to start talking to her about our relationship. Basically making it sound like things weren't exactly working out. As we get to the top of the lift, just before the plunge, I was going to pull out the ring and pop the question. I thought it would be neat to have the photo of us going down the drop as I proposed.

Anyway....she dumped me before that could happen.

Anyways, it is decorated in the romantic victorian motif.

I am sure not many people have proposed there because it has been off the tracks for the past 6-8 years.

I would rather be proposed to on a ride or have a lovely ring sitting on the straw of a main street mocha! :) The best would be to go to Diane's and pick out my ring!
