Our job description includes selling tickets, processing AP’s and working in Guest Services/Relations at the windows outside of the parks. Since all of these location are included in our description, I would assume my pay stays the same as get trained in each new location. Yes I did go through Traditions in December and I am a Casual Regular CM. I have been averaging around 32 hrs a week.

As for the hours, thats by choice. I always volunteer to stay late or come in early to pick up more hours. >>Are you balancing this with School and/or another job?<< Yep, I have another job (part-time) and even though it's not really school, I do take dance lessons every week. I am really suprised as to how accomidating Disney is. Through-out the whole interview process they kept stressing being fully available on weekends, no weekends/holidays off, fully available at least 5 days a week... I was kinda scared that I'd never be able to ask for a day off or go dancing again.

It's a lot of walking with the huge med-pack and AED they carry, especially for DTD nurses cause the responding nurses takes care of DTD and the Hotels.

And what does "Fully Available" mean > an 8 hour time period, Park Operating Hours, or 24/7 on available days..? What other postions were available at the time of your interview? )

I am sure the nurses did respond to the scenes of the accidents but I also know that AFD was called in both situations. Everyone goes through Traditions regardless of their role. I had several nurses and firefighters attend my Disney University orientation while I was working with the University. In regards to full-time weekend availability - it's Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday. Monday isn't included in weekend availability. It is 24/7 availability on those days. Additionally, Cast Members must be fully available for Grad Nites, although exceptions can be made if you are able to work them out with your management. Many departments begin work hours before the Parks open and continue until hours after the Parks close. Main Entrance is just one of many examples. On an 8:00 opening the CM's arrive for 5:00 shifts. When the Park closes at midnight you can expect to be out of there at 1:30 or 2:00 AM. Merch often has stock CM's there at all hours. Of course landscaping, maintenance, custodial, and more all work third shift.

A lot of the Disneyland Fire Department Cast Members are Paramedics also, yet the Resort does not want to use us in that capacity... We are there to help with Firefighting, inspections, and rescue situations...We all go through the same orientation for new employees...
