Is that being rude to guests? I guess you can make an argument that it is...but what they don't know.....

PS: what is the deal with the East Charleston, VT Post Office? My Aunt's Valentine's Day card was the only one returned.

As far as post offices go, I haven't gotten mail in four days from mine, and I'm expecting a rather important piece of mail.

I see it as a small percentage of CM's possibly do this, just as a small percentage of tourists are stuipd enough to do some of things they talk about on that website.

    It can't be a generalization.

You are so very welcome. I enjoy your give and take on this board and was panicking that it might be gone. Thanks for hanging in there.

It can be rude, and it can also be disruptive. I worked someplace where the staff started doing this sort of thing and it escalated into rowdy behavior. Eventually, after female employees started quitting, a supervisor was fired for sexual harassment and several male employees were reprimanded.

It's kind of like reading LP at work: A little is okay, but you have to keep it discreet. ;-)

I understand why you created this thread though because it is an interesting piece of information. You know, if you hear a CM saying it to an unruly customer you can silently laugh to yourself. None of us have anything to worry about because we all know how to behave. Still, an interesting tidbit of knowledge.

    I didn't say it couldn't be enjoyed, I just said it was a non-issue.

For you. Other people differ. Seemed like you were trying to shut down the thread before it got started.

    Just an observation.

At what point did it become a board where opinions cannot be expressed without trying to make mountains out of molehills.
