I never said anyone's participation had no value. I said this was a non-issue because it seemed that gaston lives was making a mountain out of a molehill in regards to what the cast members may or may not mean when they tell us to "have a magical day". I thought it was akin to someone telling me that CMs complain to each other about stupid or rude guests when they aren't on stage. I don't think that's a newsflash to anyone on this board. If a CM insults me to my face, it's something to get indignant about becuase they're not living up to Walt's standards. However, if I were a real jerk to a CM and he/she still tells me to have a magical day, I don't care if they're cursing me in their head or if it's just their way of controlling the situation and not going postal on me. As long as they're nice to my face, I'm not going to second guess them. They may well be cursing me in their heads, and frankly that's their business. You can't control someone's thoughts or feelings, even if they are a CM at Disney.
