CM's being rude to our faces but we don't know it?

    My manager on duty had him escorted off property by security.

    That kind of stuff never happened when I was a CM. Only those who were caught helping themselves to cash would get fired, but for the most part... CMs were extremely polite and nice to guests and one another.

    I was polite. =) You should see me. I love making a guest smile, its part of the perk of working for Disney.

    Making guests happy is a fun part of my job, watching a child brighten up if I give them a sticker, or seeing the smile on an adult's face when I can answer a very serious Disney question.

    (For example, I had a guest today ask me about Song of the South, and explained why the company doesn't release it in the United States. She was so happy we got into a long talk about Disney and she ended up being a member of the infamous Disneyland club 33.)

    That's encouraging to hear.

    I just wish it happened a lot more than it does.I have seen far too many guests engaging in boorish behavior, sometimes bordering on illegal if not unsafe and CMs appear afraid to do anything and when asked they're afraid to lose their jobs because Disney always seems to take the guest side.

    Perhaps you can ask Dan Cockerell why he's turned Main Street's east side into one giant World of Disney crap store? That's very sad and not at all what Main Street is supposed to be about.

    Even HKDL has one up on the MK in that regards..as they have one "attraction" on their Main Street: The DL Story at the Opera House. What has the MK got in that regard??? And the VMK game machine at the former Cinema location does not count.

    Main Street in the MK is going over some major changes this year. =) I'm not allowed to say what, but Main Street East will hardly resemble what it looks like this year.

    And most CMs who come to the company don't know about the family area policy where foul language isn't permitted. They hardly know a guest isn't supposed to even touch us, including our pin lanyards.

    In the end, Disney doesn't educate on how to handle roudy guests beyond calling a manager. I didn't even know until I had my unfortunate situation where I was berated and another CM was almost hit.
